The ancient island of Crete was once home to the Minoans, the earliest recorded European civilisation and birthplace of Greek gods such as Artemis, Apollo, Zeus, and Zeus’ son Minos. Gazing at the gently scintillating water, the emerald green pine trees and the dazzling white bungalows of the Minos Beach Art Hotel, guests are made to feel as if they had dived into a postcard. How fitting that it should take Minos’s name, when it feels like it too could have been created by Zeus himself.
