The Camin Hotel Luino **** is located in Luino, a small village in the Italian province Varese in Lombardy, on the banks of the beautiful Lake Maggiore.
BY PLANE
Milan is served mainly by Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP), located around 40 km / 25 mi northwest of Milan city centre. The airport is fairly well served internationally, with many airlines operating flights from most capitals and many other large cities across Europe. It also serves a major base for EasyJet, which operate flights from a number of destinations.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By taxi: it is possible to take a taxi to the hotel from the airport, which is around an hour away. Considering this, the price is not too expensive (around 70€) and is a feasible option if you do not wish to drive.
- By train: the hotel is just a short walk from Luino station making this a great option. The S 83400 and R21 trains depart every 3 hours from the airport for Luino (the journey itself is around an hour and a half). If you do wish to choose this option, please choose your flight accordingly so as to avoid long waits at the airport.
- By transfer: The hotel offers a transfer service from Milan Malpensa for 120€ (minimum 2 people, maximum 4 people). For more information on how to book, please get in contact with VeryChic customer services.
- By car: take the SS336 towards Como/Chiasso/Milano and stay on the motorway for around 14km before using the left hand lane to merge onto the A8/E62 towards Varese. Continue on the A8 for around 15km and then take the exit for Gazzada. Continue on the A60 (signs towards Varese) for around 5km and slight left onto the SS712. Continue on Tangenziale Nord Est di Varese towards your destination in Luino.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
