ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES

  • Citizens of most European countries, including the UK, will be granted a visa upon arrival at UAE airports.

    To enter the United Arab Emirate, it is mandatory to have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE, along with proof of return or onward travel out of the UAE.

BY PLANE

  • Dubai International Airport (DXB) sits about 4.6km / 2.9mi northeast of Dubai city centre, and about 35 km / 22 mi / 33 minutes' drive to the hotel.

    The airport welcomes many international flights, including from most capitals and other large cities across the UK and the rest of Europe, and serves as the main base for Emirates airlines.

  • Health & travel rules for Dubai:
    As of November 2022 most Covid-19 related restrictions/requirements have been lifted, however, we recommend checking the Visit Dubai website, or UAE Government Portal, to see the most up-to-date information.
  • Local tourist taxes of 20 AED (around €5) per room or suite, per night (to be paid directly to the hotel)
  • 3 to 6 nights minimum stay according to the dates selected at the time of booking
  • For all departures in 50 days or more, the remaining balance will be automatically debited 45 days prior to departure
  • 5% VAT, 7% municipal tax and 10% facility service fee included
  • The rates are valid only for guests residing in Europe. Otherwise, the hotel's public rate will apply
  • No food or drink from outside the hotel permitted in the establishment
  • Alcoholic drinks will not be served to guests under the age of 21
  • Establishment reserved for adult guests aged 21+, and children accompanied by an adult over 21 years old
  • No name changes will be accepted. Name changes are considered a cancellation and will result in the applicable cancellation fee. The reservation will be cancelled and a new reservation will be made subject to availability and according to the prices in force.
  • Ramadan: Although it is strongly discouraged to eat, drink and smoke in public places in accordance with local standards, hotels will offer meals and drinks in many of their restaurants and bars.
    Alcohol consumption is allowed in the resort bars after sunset only. The rest of the day, drinking alcohol is not possible in public places.
    The vast majority of tourist attractions will be open during Ramadan and the degree of attendance can be reduced.
